3D printing services price jobs in different ways: by weight, by volume or by machine time. We charge by print time, because that is what a print actually costs to make: machine hours, electricity and the filament used during those hours. The quote tool works out the print time from your STL file, so you see the exact price before you pay.
Our prices
| Charge | Price |
|---|---|
| Printing | ₹130 per print hour |
| Minimum printing charge | ₹130 |
| Delivery anywhere we ship in India | ₹200 per order |
There are no setup fees and no separate charge for the material. PLA and PETG are both included in the hourly rate.
Example prices for common prints
These print times are typical for each type of object at our standard 0.20 mm layer height. Your own model may print faster or slower, so use the quote tool for an exact figure.
| Object | Typical print time | Printing | Total with delivery |
|---|---|---|---|
| Keychain or name tag | 1 hour | ₹130 | ₹330 |
| Cable clips (set of 10) | 2 hours | ₹260 | ₹460 |
| Phone or tablet stand | 3 hours | ₹390 | ₹590 |
| Small electronics enclosure | 6 hours | ₹780 | ₹980 |
| Desk organiser | 8 hours | ₹1,040 | ₹1,240 |
| Medium vase or architectural model | 12 hours | ₹1,560 | ₹1,760 |
What makes a print take longer
- Size. Every extra centimetre of height adds more layers, and wider parts make each layer longer.
- Solidity (infill). Most prints are partly hollow inside, with a honeycomb or grid pattern. A part designed as a solid block takes much longer than one with thin walls.
- Supports. Overhangs and bridges need temporary support material underneath, which adds print time. Our STL design checklist shows how to avoid most of them.
- Layer height. Thinner layers give smoother surfaces but take more of them to build the same height. We use 0.20 mm by default, which suits most parts.
- Material. PETG usually prints a little slower than PLA, so the same part can cost slightly more. See PLA vs PETG for which one you need.
Five ways to pay less
- Put several parts in one order. Delivery is ₹200 per order, not per part, so five parts in one order save ₹800 compared with five separate orders.
- Check the scale before you upload. A model exported in the wrong units can arrive 10 times too big in the quote. Our STL export guide shows the right settings for each app.
- Hollow out decorative parts. Figurines, vases and display models rarely need to be solid.
- Lay flat parts flat. A part printed lying down usually needs fewer layers and less support than the same part standing up.
- Ask about batches. For 20 or more of the same part, email us for a batch price.
